About the Role
Synco Staff X is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our partner schools in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will support students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the instruction, care, and opportunities required to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction to support academic and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families to foster inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals.
- Support classroom management while promoting positive behaviors and independence.
- Advocate for students, ensuring access to appropriate resources and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid Massachusetts teaching licence in Special Education.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
